President's Message

My name is John Boyle and I am the current president of C Y M Sports Club in Terenure. I have been a member of C Y as it is affectionately known for almost thirty years. My first experience of the club was when I was invited to C Y to try my hand at a game of RUGBY.  I was made very welcome by all the members and decided this was a good place to be especially as it catered for many sporting activities Field Sports (Rugby, Soccer, Cricket, Bowls); Tennis; Indoor activities like the bar, snooker, table tennis. Over the years many of our members came from all parts of the country, some came to study, others came for work, but one thing's for sure most of our members past and present will always have a smile on their face when they start to recall their stories of days gone by.

Looking forward to the future it is my wish that C Y will continue to be an integral part of the community in Terenure and its surrounding area's, as it has done for over 100 years. I would like to invite you to continue to visit our links on the website, as we cater for all types of sporting activity for all ages.
